The WHO does NOT recommend using DDT. It recommends IRS. BTW there is a ban on AGRICULTURAL use of DDT. The main issue was indiscriminate spraying of DDT. However, I personally don't advocate using DDT anywhere because of the cancer risk and other things including liver damage, reproductive toxin, endocrine system damage etc.. DDT is allowed to be used, according to the 2004 Stockholm convention, for use in emergency control of insects, say in Malaria outbreaks.

So falls another biased anti-green conspiracy theory from the wingers.
