No, the (D) party has major problems. After the worst financial disaster since the Great Depression, with many investment bankers, RE lenders, RE appraisers, RE pass-through mortgage outfits, all known about now - who went to jail? MAJOR scams were perpetrated, but no one's in jail.

A lot of the Bush security state apparatus continues and even expands under Obama.

The Republicans are insane, which is why the (D)'s remain the superior choice. If the (D)'s had an opposition party that was remotely viable, they'd be in real trouble.

But as the Republican coalition is built from the corporate, the wealthy, racists, fetus-lovers, religious fundamentalists, gun nuts, no taxes and/or small government folks, gay haters and just haters, with a tiny smattering of powerless centrist Republicans fearfully waiting for the bus they'll be thrown under - that ain't happening any year soon.

<<<< BTW housing bubble 2.0 is fast approaching >>>>>

I'm interested in why you think that. Not disagreeing - just wondering.

Where were all the predictions this year?
