Weather caused by global warming can be proven to a high degree of probability, by measuring the number of extreme weather events over the last hundred years and applying statistical analysis.

We already know extreme weather events worldwide and record breaking highs (like Australia having the hottest year on record this year) and many times more common than just 30 years ago.

But the scientists who study global warming for a living say they know. There is no doubt in their mind.

Many of you just choose to ignore them. Which is really dumb, IMO.

You wouldn't if it was docs telling you you had cancer.

>> Yes, chaos theory applies to weather - but not to GW or other climatic shifts!

Not pretending to know anything about chaos theory, your comment is consistent with what I've read about its application in the context of GW.

Been hitting the vino again?

Correct. It only applies to the weather. Which is the topic of discussion. Nowhere did I state otherwise.

But climate does provide the location of the strange attractor. As the climate shifts, so does the strange attractor.
