How to build a warm, fuzzy community with the business end of a riding crop....

No greg, it's not a "game" and circumventing it would be a breach of contract.

You shouldn't be a member if you don't support the income source. That should be obvious.

I got that message on my Firefox browser, although I have no ad blocking software and have enabled ad tracking for SI. I've seen ads displayed sometimes, and sometimes not, although I have done nothing to change any settings.

I'm posting this message using an older version of IE, which I hardly ever use. I don't see ads displaying here, either, although, again, I have no ad blocking software installed on my computer. If I get the pink message here with IE, I guess I can kiss SI goodbye after 17 odd years here.

I've supported SI's need for ad revenue and have no problem viewing the ads, but I really resent being shut off for no valid reason. I wonder how many others find themselves in the same situation?

what I love is that they now have ads that show up when you are posting messages that don't even look like ads.
