steve-- that statement wasnt meant as bait. you asked if i was 23, and i am. wanna see my drivers license?<G> i am studying marketing and management information systems, GroupNetwork is a company i helped found. basically it is a holding company for our investments (mostly public companies) and our asset management activities. personally, i have been doing this for 2 1/2 years. it all kind of started as a joke, that has ballooned out. a friend asked me during may,1995 for a couple of good companies in technology to invest in. i told him to put money into lotus, microsoft and intel. a few days later i was talking to another friend, and related the story to her. to make a long story short we borrowed every dime we could (yes, even cash advances on mastercard, visa and discover) and we got started. we have done fairly well, and now have clients whose retirement and brokerage accounts we manage. it has been a real learning experience, at least it has been a hell of a lot more educational than school. as for my background in technology...there really isnt one. i read everything i can get my hands on, and have been doing so since high school. sorry it is not more interesting. good luck to all, trey
