Thanks for the update, Porter.

"with pros getting shaken out on every down-tick in bullion ..."

Interesting ... seems the gold standard is almost dead ... the curse of Busang?

Standard disclaimer for the OSC: caveat emptor, etc etc, I never listen to what Porter says ...

>>>BCE: I know it's only human nature, but I sure wish people wouldn't wait until the *last* minute to roll their positions to keep the dividend. We must have had a dozen spread orders in the book, which were CFO'd several times each until finally going to 'the market' at 3:59PM. I was still writing out tickets at 4:05. Again, I had little
idea how I stood. Turns out I'm pretty long, but I'm comfortable with that; BCE has been a tiger in the face of the Dow decline. I hear noises about the upcoming CRTC ruling--don't know what it will be, but I won't fight the tape. (25,26)<<<

It amazing that BCE is still going up considering MetroNet is
treading in Bell CAnada's turf and other cable companies are preparing
to compete in the local market. As usual it takes a while for the
analyst to notice things like this. Seems to be a 3-6 month lag.

hello Porter,

I have been watching those Ballard premiums, and all I can say is "Wow".

Any word on the floor today what was up with Gulfstream? I have been writing a couple of covers in the trading range but today it broke through on the down side really hard.

Tough to see Inco so low, I wonder if they will get bought out. Let me know your opinion.

Thanks,

ND
