History has been clear we need laws for Christ's sake.

Look at how we lived until we had democracy and laws voted on by the common man.

I don't know how it is on the mainland but in Hawaii the cops only seems to issue tickets for speeding and seat belts(set belt stops are funded by the Feds). Running stop signs or red lights is a rarity. I suspect it is the same in california as i noticed the same driving patterns there. Left turn light turns red and the left turners just keep on going thru against the light.

I expect that's in large part a reflection of the "selfie" society that we have become.
