Don't forget the delta smelt:

Ongoing environmental controversy over water flow through the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Citing possible extinction of the Delta smelt minnow, court rulings have restricted pumping through the Delta — placing a severe water burden on 3 million acres of farmland.


Are you depriving this poor fish by retaining water in your new ponds, dug w/o the knowledge of state and federal regulators?
