Thats OK - I appreciate the feedback. Thanks for explaining the adverising mechanism. I do not want to effect SI per se. So I will keep blocking off to support the greater cause.

Regards,
Hugh Evans

Dmitry,

He wasn't banned for having bearish or dissenting opinions. He was banned because after repeated warnings he continued calling names and making personal attacks on a board where both those practices are specifically prohibited.

I experienced the same thing as he did on the board when I first arrived there, thinking I could act just like he does. I received warnings from the administrator just like he did.

While I understood that to remain on the board I had to follow the rules, he did not. I adjusted my behavior accordingly, he did not.

Those of us on the SI AAPL board enjoy a lively exchange of ideas without having to resort to or be exposed to name-calling and personal attacks, which makes the SI AAPL board one of the better AAPL boards on the web.

We all know there is no shortage of AAPL boards on the web where people can make personal attacks and call names, but we appreciate that SI provides one AAPL board that is free from that sort of thing.
