The reason the Global Doomsters have lost the argument is because they got it all wrong. Reality proved their ideas were bung. It's not sufficient to say my arguments are bung, you have to use facts and reason. Whether my feet smell is irrelevant. "Your feet smell and you don't live in Antarctica" are not reasonable arguments. I know thinking is hard work, [for some people], and personal commentary is considered an argument, but it's not. Then, when reality dawns with a polar vortex, ships are stuck in ice which isn't there, and actual temperatures are out the bottom of the band of possible temperatures of the GIGO computer models, it's obvious to anyone who can use reason, that the Global Alarmists were wrong. The simplistic CO2 idea was bung. "Our children and grand children won't know what snow is." is shown to be false. He didn't say "Other than when polar blasts come roaring in each winter". <You want to tell us what the motivation is for these former Republican EPA Secretaries, you know, Brown Shirters, followers of Hitler, oooops, Reagan, et al, to write this Op-Ed in the NY Times? Republicans are not Libertarians. You have probably heard the expression RINO. The EPA bosses are like the proverbial hammer. Any problems they see look like nails to them. "Oh, we'll need to whack that down". The bosses don't understand CO2 theory. They just go with what their employee enthusiasts tell them to do. It's all part of keeping the opm loot flowing into the EPA coffers. If discovering CO2 meant things are great and that the EPA could be disestablished, shut down and the EPA employees all laid off, they would not be finding that CO2 is anything at all and should be ignored. Government departments don't vote themselves out of existence. They never solve the problem, hand in their resignation letters and get a real job. They have latched onto CO2 because it means megabucks and they like to be the official Brownshirts who must rush around bossing everyone. National Socialism. I have always thought the USA has a teutonic aspect to it, for all the vaunted "freedom". I guess that's because there are hordes of German descendants there. A lot of older people have noticed that in their life-times, Actual freedom has become a peculiarly circumscribed thing in which everything is now forbidden unless its compulsory.
