We're in a secular super cycle right now. None of that applies. Most cycles can be explained by changes in the earth's orbital trajectory, solar flux, etc.. The current cycle is due to human caused CO2 emissions. The cycle will end when mankind phases himself out or stops dumping CO2 pollution into the atmosphere (whichever comes first). The problem with Scaffetta's technique is he applies pure harmonic analysis to a system that can be explained by climate models. The harmonics is just that, harmonics. A sinusoidal curve explains nothing, as it's just a simple math function containing no consideration for physical reality. It's just booga booga. Climate change deniers (much like the flat earthers), love to cite booga booga. Booga booga is convenient and simple and offers a comfort to deniers. it does nothing to explain anything and has no scientific credibility.
