I did state budgets for 20 years. The only really huge waste I have ever seen is in the military. Virtually none at the state level.

You need to raise hell with the military first. Look at how much Cheney's Haliburton charged us for a hamburger and a gallon of gas!

You would be wrong - there's plenty to cut and lots of abuse in every government program. You simply fail to understand that the military is high on the list of required government responsibilities and should be funded as needed. It's like police and fire - fully funded then useless gay art programs.
