Strange market, it seems that Donner's share price was about 1/2 of what N.V is right now, and that was after punching a single good hole into the ground. If there is going to be a problem supplying power to the smelter in Newfoundland and the rumour of a smaller smelter is founded, maybe the Newfoundland Government in their wisdom will let Inco ship the ore to where they deem fit. By forcing Inco to process the ore within the province they have undermined the company's ability to make proper business decisions in this respect and are forcing an unnecessary confrontation with environmentalists that don't want the thing built in the first place.
