I.N. - Very sound post, IMO. I was never under the impression that December production was realistic; the company has indeed been claiming Q198 for some time. A seasoned investor, who's judgement I respect, suggested to me today that the seller could just as easily have been spooked by Korean economic developments. Well, I haven't seen many investors on this thread counting on solid Hanil numbers in their projections for next year. Ireland is what counts, in my humble opinion.
As for all the crazed speculation re Cal's departure, I found post #18 on the Yahoo thread most interesting. As others have suggested as well, the company could be engaged in a delicate balancing act between getting the batteries right the first time, improving the specs for optimum contract negotiation, and appeasing shareholders. Under such a scenario, I, for one, would be pleased as punch with January production. But when it comes to squeezing the little guy, the people doing the squeezing love it when excuses like these come along.
