I just listened to the first 20 minutes of his press conference. He put on quite a performance. I don't believe a word of it. If the tone that he claims to have set in his inner circle was diametrically different from the tone of those emails, how was it that two of his very top aides violated that tone, apparently so easily and so fully? I may be wrong about these two aides finding work so easily in the Republican Party. At least, not for awhile. I also watched a couple of Scarborough's segments on this from this morning, where good ol' Joe managed to defend Christie by saying that he didn't believe that Christie knew anything about the affair while also saying how disappointed he has been with his response to this whole thing. That was a bit of a joke, IMO; Joe I think would love to become press secretary in a Christie WH.

But it wasn't enough that he blamed her he did it over and over and over again. When he was done blaming her, he said the reason he fired her was that she lied to him. He did that AND also said that he hadn't even talked to her. My good God if that isn't throwing someone under the bus I don't know what is. Can you explain please? Boy I hope she talks but if she did this she maybe will have criminal charges filed against her and council will tell her she has to keep her mouth shut.
