If you like windmills, drive down the Columbia. You'll see hundreds. Some of them aren't even turning, either feathered, or not enough wind. They cost more to build and maintain than they return in energy. You'll see hundreds of coal cars being pulled by four engines and pushed by two, headed for Portland where the coal will be loaded for China.

It's OUR coal, from Montana. We're digging up Montana to let China burn it.

It seems the oceans have gotten rather acidic of late.

I've seen conflicting reports on ocean acidification. Saying its clearing happening, and saying not so much. I don't think its a huge problem yet, not sure how much of a problem (both in terms of how much the ph will change, and how much of a problem that will cause) it will be in the future.
