"I met a beautiful artist in Baltimore. And that summer I flew down to Baltimore and met her and we went to NC where a friend was going to school.

I remember how lush it was and the ghost oyster operations along the coast were really fun to explore.

We bought and cracked watermelon along the highways.

And she was a wild woman in the warm lush countryside. Even in the wild forests warmth was never a problem."

Talkin' blues, man. Needs a guitar. Reminds me of a song whose name I can't recall. Talkin blues, I think in NO, maybe a house on Toulouse Street (not the Doobies' song), with a girl dancing in the rain, and maybe a dawg with 3 legs.

I have good memories in many states, but one that particularly stands out involves a beautiful woman, a blanket, and a bottle of wine off a gravel road about halfway up Mount Rainier. The peak was snow covered but there were wild flowers growing all over the sides of that mountain. That was 30 years ago. I'm gonna get back there one of these days... :)
