I think all our local hospitals are Catholic, so do I have to worry about this? My strategy will be to defend myself by refusing treatment from such people. Female staff who follow the Islamic faith will be allowed to cover their arms to preserve their modesty despite earlier guidance that all staff should be "bare below the elbow".
