<<Well, Dear Mr. Network, you can probably give us some lead on those
network companies at the same time you join the discussions between
those doctors who are more keen in the biotech sector.>>

An excellent trade! I accept. I will give you two for starters (I follow
a dozen).

<<BTW, what network stocks do you feel good at this moment ? COMS, BAY,
Newbridge seem all suffering from sales deterioration. Hardware companies
found themself in a very hard situation. True ? Would appreciate your
opinion on the side line.>>

I will offer one post here (since I don't publish my E-Mail address)
Please forgive me for being off topic.

Two excellent choices would be MRVC and ASND.

MRVC is a small company with 30 consecutive quarters of growth. It was
growing at over 100% per year the past 4 years and has now slowed down
to only about 90%. It is relatively unknown and significantly
undervalued at the moment. It has a balance sheet like Fort Knox
($80M cash, no debt). It is positioned in two of the fastest growing
areas, Fast and Gigabit Ethernet (market is projected to go from $70M
this year to $2.9B by 2000 - thats 40 times!), and Fiber Optic products.
They are currently positioned with the broadest product line and are in
the process of doubling their sales staff to handle their rapid growth.
They are expected to report an excellent Q4 in late January. If interested,
call their Investor Relations department (818-886-MRVC) and ask for
an Investor's kit - excellent reading.

ASND has been clobbered recently because of problems with 56K modems
and temporary slowdown in Europe and Japan this Summer. The stock
has had all the premium wrung out of it this year, going from $80
in January to a low of $22 last week (now $27). The problems are
behind them, they have signed several large contracts and they have
major new products coming out in January. They have reiterated they
will have a good Q4 several times (earnings in January) and also
confirmed a good 1998 is in the offing. To top it off they are
extremely likely to be acquired within the next year (rumors swirling
again now). I have every confidence in the stock moving to upper $40s
or higher by the end of next year. Their PE is now 1/2 that of
CSCO, the leading company.

OK, enough pollution of your nice thread. I'll try to stay on
topic (not that I can contribute much) in the future.
