I'll speak for myself, thanks.

>>Yahoo will keep going up if interest rates remain low.

I don't know whether Yahoo is going up, down, or sideways near-term. Yahoo may have 50% corrections along the way, as it has had already. But I'm pretty confident that no matter what happens near-term that Yahoo has the stuff it takes to be a legendary growth stock, one of the best for the upcoming years. Their business opportunity is huge. They are in the right place at the right time, and they are extending their sizeable lead over their competition. Low interest rates only make thier future earnings stream more valuable. All this adds up to a buy, hold, and add on weakness strategy for me.

>>Earnings only have to catch up a little.

Earnings have a long way to go to catch up to the Street's expectation but I think they will, and apparently the Street thinks so too.

>>It is the internet global-media land-grab content-aggregation leader.

Substantially correct.

>>The short interest is too high.

Short interest is very high, and the stock is making new highs. Not a comfortable (nor sensible) situation for short-sellers. Then again, some folks keep stocks that are making yearly lows, also, because they think they're undervalued.

>>The early investors in ASND made 10000% on their money.

Something like that. Even through this collapse, they made more than they would have made owning US Steel. Just like the Titanic, it took a while for Ascend to sink, and, like Shiva, the handwriting was on the wall...they both began to lose market share. There is no such thing as a one-decision stock, but market share doesn't appear to be a problem for Yahoo at the moment.

Good posts Bill!... So many issues, like Icarus, soar too high and melt. Only until they are floundering in the waves do they realize their proper element was solid ground. Human nature is conceited in that everyone believes they can avoid past faults and carry on the schemes forever. It will be very interesting to see where YHOO heads from here. Happy Holidays
