There are a combination of factors that few people are talking about that will likely mean gold has a good shot at going higher. All the talking heads that have been predicting a collapse in the US dollar have been shut up and very few are talking down the dollar. Almost every emerging currency and resource currency have been heavily sold. Take a look at the US/CDN chart. All these extremes are in place that could launch gold higher. Everyone is on one side of the boat.

As for the US dollar.... We have almost zero talk about the pending debt ceiling crisis in the mainstream media. This will have to change as time is fast approaching.

I try to consider the odds here. Way too many people have stopped talking about gold and even the big players like Sprott and Paulson have thrown in the towel on gold. Everyone is on one side of the boat.
