I believe that should read Chrome desktop systems.

Google it seems has confused people naming both the operating system and the browser Chrome.

Interesting. Another paradigm that seems might be misunderstood.

My take on it is the low end markets in both desktop/laptop and mobile are splitting into two factions. Chrome/Android for retail users and Windows/Windows RT for corporate users as Windows is already in the enterprise, Apple is making inroads and IT is loath to support all three systems..

Apple is still the high end king of both markets, and increasingly it looks like if you want a first class ride where your phone, pad and computer are consistent... you buy Apple.

It will be interesting to see if I'm right.
