Base salary ... No. Min wage.. No. In life you have 2 options. You can sell your time for whatever you can get someone to pay you. You can sell your services for whatever you are able to earn. If you choose the first then you are tied to a wage dictated by your experience or your employers offer. If you choose the second you are tied to the % of profit that you are able to negotiate with your employer. Working hard , in sales, is validated by generating sales. Profitable sales are determined by selling something for more than the cost of that something. Income is % of that spread. If you really are a practicing physician you would know all of that. You would know what a back office cost is and you would be aware of the costs involved in operating a practice.
