The nearst thing to CNC that I have run across is SAI. Most other insurers have not been on the big acquisition binge that CNC has been on, so comparisons are lacking. It seems that lately CNC has been paying more and more for their acquisitions and hence they are beginning to pile up "good will" which is an item that is of no use to stockholders or lenders - according to RD, as much as the 30 largest insurance companies combined or something to that effect - go check out the RD site for his actual comment.
