Poor jallen is a Peter Jennings advocate.

Jennings was a Hate-America Canadian.

As 9-11 was going on slimebag Jennings put on PLO propagandist Hanan Ashrawi to spot her anti-Israel mantras for a solid hour.

Jennings hated the US and spat at it every night in his commie 'broadcasts.'

Jennings epitomizes the filth of the "news" media.

ABC News Special On Saddam (Peter Jennings Barf Alert)
ABC News | 3/21/03
Posted on Saturday, March 22, 2003 12:05:37 AM by MCH

Just caught the tail end of an ABC News special where Barbara Walters interviewed a number of Iraqi women about Saddam's regime. They recounted lots of horrible stories and showed some nasty video of chemical attacks, etc.

After the segment, Barbara Walters discussed it with Peter Jennings. Her sympathy for the Iraqi women and the Iraqi people after 34 years of the Butcher of Baghdad was obvious.

However, when it was Jennings turn to respond and comment he turned the entire segment around and blamed the plight of the Iraqi people on America. "To be fair", he claimed, "they left him in power." There were other anti-American comments and jibes as well. And it wasn't "us", it was "they" when he referred to America and Americans.

Jennings is a national disgrace and a traitor.

We should send complaints to ABC News to protest the fact that the anchor of the "American" Broadcast Company is a traitor and about as un-American as they come. This puke absolutely disgusts me.

So Jennings thinks "they" should of marched to Baghdad in 1991? I don't remember him rooting for that...

It is a disgrace that Peter is not worried about being fair to law abiding American gun owners, but is worried about being fair to Saddam. I guess it is a Canadian thing - us dummys wouldn't understand.

I saw the same thing and sat here wanting to do bodily harm to Peter Jennings. The man is on the par with Bill Clinton. Nothing objective about him and his anti American/anti War position was more than obvious even to the casual observer.

Jennings is a typical liberal RAT socialist. Don't blame the perpetrator for their bad deeds. To be fair, all bad deeds must somehow be caused by a conservative. Why this Canadian idiot is still on the air, I just don't know. I never watch him.

Biography The son of a pioneering Canadian broadcaster, Peter Jennings carried an aristocratic air into his duties as ABC News' chief anchor, yet most of his viewers would be surprised to learn that he was a high school dropout whose early TV experience was hosting a Canadian dance program similar to "American Bandstand". Jennings actually began in broadcasting as a nine-year old, hosting a Canadian radio program geared for children called "Peter's People". By the early 1960s, he was host of "Club Thirteen", the aforementioned dance show. Then he moved into radio as a news reporter before joining CJOH-TV, where he handled a variety of news stories--among other events, he covered the building of the Berlin Wall and the funeral of John F. Kennedy. By 1963, at age 24, he was co-anchor of the "CTV National News". The next year, Jennings was lured to the US by ABC News as a correspondent. Ironically, his father, who headed programming for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) had rejected all US offers when Jennings was growing up. hollywood.com

What a bunch of bung holes! I'm doing taxes as I job hunt. tonight, I was listeneing to ABC on the radio in between customers, (not too many). The ABC commentators have an IQ of somewhere between I, the 9th letter in the alphabet and Q, the 17th letter in the alphabet! One of the idiots opined, "What if we don't win the war!"

If I were them, I would be real worried. The first thing Saddam would do upon accepting our surrender is to feed these liberal idiots to the plastic shredders. Those that are big enough clymer kissers would probably get burkas and roles in the torture and rape rooms to keep them in line.

Of course, Saddam would need to watch the movie "Red Dawn" to understand why we Freepers would not be pacified and why we would drive him to the depths of hell!

They had two college kid protesters on earily. "Bush" can't be trusted to liberate Iraq becuase "we" put Saddam in power and gave him all his weapons(all those Mig fighters and Soviet-era tanks must be American). And then of course we did not take Saddam out in 91. And so America is wrong for not "Uni-laterially) liberating Iraq in 91, and we are wrong for "Uni-laterially" do so now??? Let these kids and Peter the Canadian go to Iraq and see if they have the same freedom to march or pontificate on national TV.

Why this Canadian idiot is still on the air, I just don't know. I never watch him. I was sloppy. Since the war's started I've spent a lot of time glued to the TV (when not frequenting FR of course). Lots of channel surfing between news broadcasts. I came across the nasty pictures of dead Iraqis, the stories, etc. and realized it was Baba Wawa, but kept watching anyway cause it was interesting.

When they cut away to Baba and Peter Lemming I should have known better and switched immediately to another channel. My mistake. I was drawn into watching the AntiAmerican Broadcasting Channel, which I also almost never do. It's next to the bottom of the barrel, barely above CNN and just barely below CBS and Dan Blather.

Yes, it's the fault of the U.S. for leaving Mr. Hussein in power, and for providing him arms. Well, then, I guess if the U.S. messed up, then the U.S. has to own up to it and take action to rectify its earlier error. Right?

I saw it, too.

Barbara's report outlined some of Saddam'despicable atrocities complete with testimonials. Jenning's smug comments were unbelievable. That America can be blamed for what Saddam's regime put those women's families through is complete made-up fanatical hogwash.

Then he discredited the women by slying stating 'even if 70 percent of what they say is true...'

I haven't seen PEEtah in years. He is much older and thinner than when I last saw him. And it appears he is much more transparent. His Anti-America tirade before he shooed Babba off made my jaw drop. He's nuts, hasta be.

He was contemptibly unmoved by those women's suffering, or that of Saddam's cruelty. What a liberal piece of work! And he's not even an American citizen, yet he has the gall to criticize this country, while at the same time taking advantage of everything this country has to offer.

I had the misfortune of having ABC on tonight (go easy on me, we don't get cable news channels, CBS had basketball on and NBC was running regular TV shows - some Law and Order spinoff). What I saw on ABC was below despicable. My wife asked why I didn't change the channels as I hurled epithets at the screen.Their 'coverage' was basically of protests here and around the world. It sickened me. They had some Jordanian guy who had lived here for several years basically say 9-11 was justified. Then they had two "college" organizers on. One appeared to be high. He thought this war would have a great impact on college kids - they might have to go off to war he said. Guess he hadn't heard the draft ended about 30 years ago. The other guy was some smug-looking class-president type. Of course, no discussion of WMD, oppression of Iraqi people, just give us peace.

The best part was that neither of these "college" organizers was actually in college, they had both graduated. Of course I'm not surprised that Jennings didn't ask how they got paid, what the source of their money was. He was too busy promoting the one organization, "moveon". It was like a recruiting session. I can only hope they all go find bulldozers to block.

Just when I was about to go through the roof, Babs Walters comes on and interviews 4 women who detail the horrors of living in Saddam's Iraq, torture, rape, etc. They told of the expectation of people in Iraq to be liberated, and of people telling them they were preparing meals for the liberating forces. I'm thinking to myself, why didn't Peter Jenning ask the "college" boys about this, but I quickly returned to my senses and understand that this isn't journalism we're talking about, it's ABC's/Peter Jennings anti-American crusade.

After that story that let's you know we're doing the right thing, Jennings still needed to trash the US. So he then blamed the US that Saddam is in power. And when he talked about what we're doing now, he didn't speak about US actions in Iraq, he called it the Bush administration's action. Like these aren't the US armed forces carrying out US policy, they are simply Bush administration workers.

I supposed I should be firing off an angry email to ABC protesting their blatant anti-Americanism, but hey, I should never have been watching ABC in the first place. I know they are the anti-American Broadcasting Company, so it's nobody's fault but mine. May their ratings continue to plummet.

With each and every broadcast, more and more Americans are waking up to the incredible bias these SOB's display. For now, the networks don't care what a vocal minority writes or says. However, declining ratings and shifts in the national political climate will eventually reform or bury these b*stards.

Thanks for the link. I finally got around to sending my own nastygram to ABC "News", included below for posterity. Given my recent interest in all things related to the war coverage, I found myself channel surfing and ultimately watching the Barbara Walters segment this evening about the horrendous atrocities committed by Saddam Hussein's regime. I thought it was well done, and interesting. I felt very sorry for the women and all they and the Iraqi people have gone through over the years of rule under this brutal dictatorship.

When the piece was over, the comments and analysis provided by Peter Jennings was abolutely offensive. He blamed the 34 years of terror under the Butcher of Baghdad on the United States. He inferred that Iraqis were too tribal for democracy, and that the Iraqi women whom Barbara had interviewed were lying. He also referred to America as "them", and as an occupying army. Combined with his obvious arrogant attitude and extreme anti-American demeanor, the overall effect was utterly disgusting.

How can a network called the "American" Broadcasting Company have such an obvious American-hating traitor as their anchor? Even Barbara Walters seemed taken aback at Peter Jenning's vitriolic anti-American response.

The entire episode reminded me of why I don't often watch ABC anymore. The anti-American tirades of Jennings have ensured that I will NOT watch your network "news" again for a very LONG time.

Why do you put up with this? From what I've read lately, Disney and ABC are having financial problems. Given your choice of news anchors, it's obvious why. Peter Jennings should be working for Al Jazeera. In this viewer's opinion, he's not welcome here in America.

The women's experiences under Saddam's reign is very horrific and touching.

I'm sure the program was a "mistake" of a new producer intern, because Petahh Jennings and the Anti-American Broadcasting Co. rarely show anything that may be construed as supporting the war in Iraq.

Peter Jennings behaves like traitor
............................................................................
By Stephen M. Black Saturday, August 2, 2003
blueridgenow.com

What would you call a man who would purposely give aid and comfort to our enemies? I don't know about you, but I would call him Peter Jennings, head pooh-bah of ABC News Tonight.

I can't imagine why Jennings does what he does. Perhaps he is truly a complete pacifist at heart. He obviously has an agenda. It is only too obvious how he picks and chooses news items to show only the negative side of the war in Iraq.

All networks are guilty of this but ABC is the most blatant. I recall when President Clinton ordered the bombing of Yugoslavia. One of Jennings' reporters on the scene mentioned the bombing could take many, many months.

When Jennings came back on he sighed deeply, shook his head and said, "Many, many months."

What theatrics!

He is constantly editorializing by his manner and words. This is not the duty of a news anchorman. The networks used to provide a time at the end of a broadcast for an editorial. And they were excellent even if you did not hold to their position.

But note they didn't editorialize during the reporting.

  • Jennings' recent ploy was to interview a squad of soldiers from the third infantry division. The squad, as all grunts do, were complaining about the war. I should use a stronger term because the word "complain" doesn't describe what grunts do when they are unhappy with their lot. We will always have complaining as long as we have a military.

The squad was simply letting off steam and that is always a good thing in the situation grunts usually find themselves. The big mistake the soldiers made was to complain on national television.

And while some of the remarks they made were perfectly understandable, they were still stupid and unthinking. A direct insult to Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld didn't help their case.

And a case it has become indeed. When the head commander of American forces in Iraq witnessed the interview he wasn't happy, to say the least. Every soldier in that interview will in some degree be officially reprimanded and punished.

Rightly so. A public display of demoralization within a fighting outfit only plays right into the hands of the enemy. It encourages pro-Saddam forces, gives them strength and hope while discouraging the people back home. It lengthens the fight. And because of that stupid interview, more of our warriors will be killed and wounded.

  • Listen, no one complained more than my fellow Marines and me. What we knew by heart, however, was to keep our disgruntlement within the family. And a grunt's family is his fire team and squad. That's as far as it went.

While I believe the soldiers should be disciplined, my true anger is aimed at Jennings. He went far and wide to find a group of grunts who wanted to air their grievances to a national audience.

On the next evening, he reported that the interview was a rare happening. Yet, in the original broadcast he blew it all out of proportion and portrayed it as if all the troops in Iraq are demoralized. That was a lie and Jennings knew it.

Jennings went on to disparage any punishment the soldiers would get. He quoted the old saying, "soldiers are called on to defend democracy ... not practice it."

What foolishness. Of course democracy cannot be practiced in our military. Can you imagine an order being given to attack and then putting it up for a vote?

If Jennings is not a traitor to this country (his country now), he is as close as one can be. It is just this type of irresponsible and slanted so-called "journalism" that gets our warriors killed. Jennings ought to be ashamed of himself.

It wasn't "us", it was "they" when traitor Peter Jennings referred to America and Americans.
