we do have some economic numbers coming out tomorrow; if positive could give the market a needed boost. it is odd that oracle earnings' miss of a few cents has now taken nearly $300 billion off the total capitalization of world markets. now that makes sense. now, samsung is stealing wdc's, seagate's, and quantum's business through low ball pricing and... no company is stealing IOM's business.

some of today's action was prompted by short trading techniques

Anyone else notice these Oracle commercials for the net pc
where the guy talking about the computer says it has this feature,
that feature, and "unlimited storage capacity."

SO, what form will this "unlimited storage capacity" take?
net?
Zip?
Clik!?

Congradulations (on your zip resoning). Ever thought of appling for a new job ?

<<<<ITS A LONG POST AND YOU MIGHT THINK I'M AN INSANE IOM
BULL>>>>>>
but,........... year 2000 EPS(presplit) could reach $3.00/share
WITHOUT CLIK.IOM has experienced incredible growth yet the vaSt majoriy
of Zips sold so far, I believe, have been external. The growth of the OEM
installed internal,IMHO, will be even bigger. People don't realize that only about
5%-7% of computers sold today come with a Zip Built In, that leaves roughly
93% of the market open. As the uses, shapes, sizes and needs of computers
evolve, especially into multimedia(Computer=TV=Steroe), the need for a device
such as a Zip expands exponentially. The more people have it the more other
people NEED it, in order to be able to share data...its growth feeds on itself.>>>>>>>

Frank,

I don't think you're insane, and I do hope that scenario in your crystal ball comes true.

What a day today ! They always take this stock down harder during
selloffs. 20 % from its recent high ?! Well, I'm glad I stayed
patient and waited for the price to come to me. Loaded up big
at 27.5 and will load up more if it dips again. Although imo, we're
going to close up tomorrow. This is way overdone.

Regards,

Dave
