We still have the anti-trust laws in place to enforce against unfair competitive practices. Make the heavy traffic bear the freight I say, but as you note time will tell.

"Comcast and Time Warner are both in the news and entertainment business. So they very well may implement rules that discourage competition. They certainly hate Netflix, since it has taken millions of eyeballs off their programs."

I've discontinued my Comcast cable, just get my "TV" wirelessly from 2 Roku boxes, Netflix and Huluplus and the Comcast internet. It satisfies me totally.

As more and more people make this choice, the cable providers be hurtin'. Even if they provide your internet. My Comcast bill was halved by doing this.

That's what this is about, not Bread's cable bill, which will NEVER go down.
