Agreed on the base.

That is actually something that protects the dollar.

>> Pends on where you are and the perceived value as well as product value of the dollar

If and when resources are allowed to be harvested we will protect and strengthen the Dollar.

I'm by no means an expert - but resources do create great wealth and we have saved/ protected quite a lot.

>>I am going to take your statement as pertaining to vacation and recreation as Canada is one of the richest resource areas in the world however she is sputtering a bit in growth now. Fracking can be cost fractured by both increased solar use and perhaps tech that creates a better lithium battery or increased hydrogen power.

Mining resource one must be very selective back to basics - oceans generate electricity.

As robots transcend the need for man for some people there will be more opportunity to increase time for recreation . In many areas I know of the cost of easily accessible lakefront property is very high

I say this lightly, as to me income spread is vast enough that it could defeat the quest for equal as well as investment opportunity, so perhaps bush planes pontoons and airfields are a good investment as people will pay a fortune to get away from it all.
