Well, I'm not Ten but probably shouldn't have butted in. Ten can take care of himself. But the claim that lobbying controls Congress is way beyond the truth. They have input but you would expect them to -- they represent the stakeholders who are among the most affected by a particular law. It seems to me that you pick up on any chance for a conspiracy theory and adopt it as your basic argument. Most of these issues (like GMO foods) are not really causes for concern, and in fact, work to save lives, not cause trouble. It is the same with GW and other over-reactions. Just calm down.
