I wish I were short, Dale. I have been short other stocks like yahoo that I considered much more overvalued and unsustainably high. I learned a painful lesson from this, namely that it is better to short stocks like quantum, that are basically decent companies in failing industries than to short the hi-flyers like yahoo, aol, et al with their fervent fanatical supporters. I mean those stocks too may fall one day but meanwhile I could have cleaned up just on qntm alone. Man oh man I blew it and it hurts almost as much as the people who refused to buy puts to protect their position on qntm. Got to think defensively, especially these days, and not be too greedy. So no I wasn't short but I will be the next time. Incidentally I think those of you thinking that qntm will hold the line at 20 are dreaming. But if by chance you are right and 20 does hold, that would be an incredibly bullish happening. It would mean the negative sentiment has crested and all the bad news is out. I don't think that will be what happens tomorrow but we shall see.
