I know you must have enjoyed it.
At one time it was my whole life. I lived at Mammoth Mountain and skied every day, sometimes the first one on the chairlift.

One thing learned on this trip is that if you stay on slopes that are much easier than you used to ski and you won't fall on your own.

Boring! It sounds like it's time to challenge yourself. Do a little zigging and zagging off the groomers and into and out of the woods or on the moguls on the sides of those easy runs (staying close enough that you can reach the "easy" terrain in case you feel like you're getting into trouble) and you'll soon find yourself searching for steeper and harder terrain because you'll love the way it feels.
