Dwight, feel sorry to you.

There were number of persons ask me "is WDC a good buy" last couple weeks. I told them to avoid SEG (for now) and WDC but I recommended QNTM at $23 to $25 to them, obviously I underestimated the cascading effect of WDC and SEG and partly thanks to Fujitsu who accelerated the price war. In additional IBM Deskstor (another state-of-the-art) found its home in many DELLs while GTW was losing market share. Once the supply-demand stablized, I am sure QNTM will come back above $25 easily (and possibly SEG too, I found SEG's software solution on many CDR and CD-RW bundle and it is also used in Win98) but right now, who knows where they will go.
Don't forget IF not QNTM smartly promoted its DLT business, QNTM will probably break-even or loss this quarter like WDC. So there is no need to worry when there is a good management, they will find a way to improve EPS. There are more challenges in the coming 1998.

Let's hope to hear some good news from CPQ so that it can hold the $58 support level, we have enough trouble already.
