The old and current model is disfunctional-by the time brokers, lawyers, insiders and stock exchanges take their cut, too low a percentage of equity capital actually goes into the ground. Then in the rare instance when good results are achieved, the short sellers and high frequency traders take the steam out, leaving retail speculators high and dry every time. Odds are better in vegas than in Vancouver, and a better time can be had in Vegas too;-).......this has been a paradigm shift and there is no going back. What could or will an new system to finance exploration look like is anyones guess at this stage. Until there is visibility, I am putting my investment and spec dollars elsewhere than in the Vancouver resource ghetto.
