Hello Ed and all: Any thoughts on this one? TRI.v (formerly KBL) has a soft drink brand out west (Koala brands). The stock has traded at approx. 20 cents and higher for the past year. Clearly Canadian announces a takeover in Oct., however after d.d. removes the offer. TRI is currently trading at 3 cents and has announced a reverse 1 for 10 split, which at this point would make the stock price only slightly higher than before the takeover announcement. Is there any bounce in the near future for this stock? Is the bad news in the last line of this release increasing share capital to 100 million shares without par value? Or is the fact that Clearly Canadian decided to pass on the takeover after dd reason enough for such a drastic drop in price. Also, from what i can gather in past releases, I understood TRI to have approx. 17 million shares out, yet this release says 37 million. Tribridge Enterprises Corp TRI Shares issued 36902815 1997-11-18 close $0.07 Wednesday Nov 19 1997 Mr Carson O'Neill reports Special resolutions will be proposed at a special meeting of shareholders on Monday, December 22 1997, to consolidate the company's share capital on the basis of one new share for every ten existing shares and to increase the company's share capital to 100 million shares without par value.
