Finally, it is Bay who sheds some light at the end of the tunnel, amid Asian malaise, networking screw-ups, disk drive screw-ups, and other technology companies screwing up. I'm truly impressed and relieved. What a strong, bold statement by management defending shareholder value for all the tiny shareholders like us. This is the kind of aggressive and protective management that I would feel comfortable parking my money. With only 2-3 wks left, surely they can't be wrong?! ptv

Pure BS - - -- An example of an analyst wanting to buy at a lower price. "In a research note, DLJ analyst Stephen Koffler said he was concerned hub product sales would be flat in the quarter and router growth will have slowed as the company's new Accelar switch is cannibalizing sales." Accelar does routing function on ethernet (100 and Gig). Any canabalization of router sales has already been realized with LAN switching. Routers are primarily used for LAN to WAN connectivity not to subnet Ethernet LAN's. Accelar has no WAN connection. I do not get the connection. Where is cannibalization? Please correct me if I am wrong. In addition, which hub sales are weak? Workgroup, chassis, TR, Ethernet, 100Mbps, 10Mbps, BN, D5000, ATM ? What a BS and hollow statement.
