Oakland International Airport saw temperatures soar to 77 degrees, with downtown Oakland at 76, both beating records set in 2009, the National Weather Service said. San Francisco International Airport hit 73 degrees, breaking a 1974 record high of 69, but downtown San Francisco, at 71, missed the 2009 record by 2 degrees.
