I know, its hard to fathom someone making the statement: " if life took 4 Bil years to emerge, the first single celled life forms would only now be emerging" The statement above is right up there with such con reasoning, if man came from apes, why aren't we seeing monkeys evolving into humans now! Rather humorous to see brum so enraged with the concept of emergence, that knee jerk rejection to any ideas that shed a light on a world that has so much more immensity, than biblical creation myths could ever dream to cover. Then there's the obvious problem with the literal deification of this rabbi Jesus to God status, yet never once did this country preacher ever indicate he had any knowledge of such larger realities. Being "God" he most certainly would have had an appreciation of the vast history of the earth, his creation & the long evolutionary journey things had truely taken.
