To Thread,with the s&p futures down 10+ points I thought I'd throw out a little mrvc touting.On the front page of the December issue of the Security Traders Handbook is an interview with James W. Oberweis,President of Oberweis Brokerage Inc and portfolio manager for one of their funds and co manager of another.Mrvc is the first stock that he touts when asked about Emerging Growth.The guy has a great track record and for him to have mrvc as his top pick for their Emerging Growth Fund should get some peoples attention. Mike

I just completed my first phase of takeover of MRV. Just added another 600 shares at 23 11/16 for a total of 1100 shares. Also completed my Christmas shopping SNDK, SMOD, ORFR, PWAV. It's a fire sale. Volume seems to dry up, so I think we have reached bottom. Dow is down around 85 and Naz is down around 25, and this has not changed for the last 45 minutes or so.
