<<I think this quote is bearish short term and intermediate

Well put. I am a long term investor. In that sense, "if"
there is any confusion over '98 (to which I think that it
is either overblown or already over factored in to today's
prices), I would would view this as a buying opportunity.
Short of a recession, I am looking out towards '99, '00
and '01.

Just one man's spin.....SemiBull

PS - I will looking very closely at CFM and today...as
well as maybe more SFAM with earnings out soon - though
in this market nobody cares what your numbers are. I
also may start looking at UTEK. For the record, I am
long on AMAT, EGLS, COHU, SVGI, SMTL, SFAM, and KLAC
- which makes up about 70% of my holdings.
