The Christian sense of "DUTY"...

"And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly, it is the distress that daily grows. For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people. And when I look on my people I see them work and work and toil and labor, and at the end of the week they have only for their wages wretchedness and misery. When I go out in the morning and see these men standing in their queues and look into their pinched faces, then I believe I would be no Christian, but a very devil, if I felt no pity for them, if I did not, as did our Lord two thousand years ago, turn against those by whom today this poor people are plundered and exploited.”

Belgian mass slaughter of millions in the Congo pretty hard to overlook (as much as 10mil?), but some do their very best when it comes to debating & overlooking these things. Then we trumped ourselves once more at the end of cold war, installing the capitalist dictator Mobutu Seke, who was a fave Ron Regan's man, after CIA had the oppostion assinated to get him into power. (large political donations to Ron's campaign from our "big man" Mobutu)

Mobuto was capitalism with a capital "C" for corruption, nepotism & embezzelment on a scale of billions, who knows how much he stole for himself, but was not less than $5bil & as high as 10-12B. And during his reign everything went to complete disrepair with almost total destruction of infractructure & rails.

When it comes to cherry picking history, brumar has a very lazy eye, but not to worry, the millions of dead innocents all get to go to heaven, a "belief" that is one of the biggest cop outs man has ever invented, along with "heavenly fathers" that almost always has benefitted the wealth classes in every case.

Brilliant move by the US, like working & supporting Saddam, ask brumar about the relativity of evil,
see what how he explains & cherry picks this away.
