PIERRE/ALL: Awhile back, I tried to buy the QNTM convertibles. (QNTMG) For reasons I don't understand, my broker had difficulty filling the order and we forgot about it. (This was before the dd nosedive.)

Today, those convertibles would seem to be a great play if you believe the bond interest would be paid.

Two things: one, do any of you have the bonds and if so how'd you get 'em? Two, assuming I could buy them, do you feel QNTM is solvent enough to service the debt?

Greatly appreciate any and all thoughts.

Peter

Pierre X/ALL - I've been trying, to no avail, to get information on the QNTM convertibles. (QNTMG) My guess is that they're a screaming steal...IF....quantum can service their debt.

Also, there seems to be a problem buying them. Merrill Lynch is hiccuping.

Any and all thoughts greatly appreciated.

Peter
