Accugraph Now Installed in More Than 10 Wireless
Providers

RICHARDSON, TEXAS--

Leading Network Inventory and Provisioning Products Selected by
U.S. Service Providers

Accugraph Corporation today announced that two new companies have
placed orders for the Accugraph Network Inventory and Provisioning
products. The companies, Advanced Radio Telecommunications
Corporation (ART) and Nortel-Northern Telecom (Technology),
Richardson, Texas, play a key role in the emerging wireless local
loop market (WLL). With the addition of these new customers,
Accugraph continues to gain penetration in the wireless sector of
the North American telecommunications market.

Accugraph, a leader in the Network Inventory and Provisioning
field, has focused efforts on the wireless companies during the
past year and has been successful in securing business with over
ten companies in this market. Accugraph's Network Inventory and
Provisioning products assist telecommunications service providers
in managing capital expenditures more effectively by providing
accurate information about equipment, facilities, and circuit
capacity. The products feature capabilities for network
engineering, management, design, operations and systems
development.

"Within an OSS framework, Accugraph's products have proven that
they are capable of satisfying three of the major process areas
within service provisioning. With integrated configuration
management, inventory management and provisioning/assignment
capabilities, the products significantly enhance a carrier's
ability to compete," says Paul Damp, Chairman and CEO. "From both
a cost control and network performance standpoint, customers are
seeing great value. Many companies cite the reduction of
information silos and duplication of effort as key improvements
obtained with the Accugraph solution."

The ability to perform circuit design and assignment enables
Accugraph's customers to have a common platform from which to
carry out network infrastructure provisioning, capacity management
and circuit engineering functions. Additionally, not only does
the product allow these providers to track circuit information,
but also tracks the logical capacity supported by their
facilities. Accugraph's latest wireless customers represent an
array of technology including CDMA, GSM, and point-to-point
microwave technology.

Nortel had 1996 revenues of US $12.8 billion and has approximately
70,000 employees worldwide. Nortel works with customers in more
than 150 countries to design, build and integrate their
communications products and advanced digital networks. Customers
include public and private institutions; Internet service
providers; local, long-distance, cellular mobile and PCS
communications companies; cable television companies; and
utilities. Nortel's research capabilities around the world
include a network of research and development facilities,
affiliated joint ventures, and other collaborations fostering
innovative product development and advanced design research in 16
countries.

ART is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington and provides rapidly
deployable, highly reliable, wireless broadband communications
services which extend the reach of fiber optic and other
communications networks. ART addresses the growing demand for
high-capacity, high-speed digital communication services, offering
broadband transmission in increments of DS-1 and DS-3 for advanced
voice, data, video and Internet access requirements. One DS-1 is
equivalent to 24 voice grade, circuits transmitting 64 kilobits
per second (Kbps).
