I have been trying to reach the harbormaster in Kingston, Jamaica. The only report I have received (and am unable to account for its veracity) it that the Pilar del Caribe is there, half sunk, in the harbor. I'd suggest you start there. If the ship was there and left, they'd have a record of it.
