This is totally anecdotal but I am always amazed at how crowded the CMG's is by us. I rarely listen to CNBC but they've been making a big deal out of the weather and blaming it on MCD's poor numbers. Well, the fall/winter weather here in Chicago has been the worst we've seen in a very, very long time but the CMG's is still packed. Clearly, one store or location can't be used to judge a company but (truly) I have been amazed at the lines and traffic. Personally, I don't get why it's such a big deal to many, as the food is average at best, IMO, certainly not great. fwiw.....my 2 cents....etc....listening to the talking heads on CNBC made me think that the weakness in CMG today is (probably) directly related to the action in MCD's....and might be worth watching before their earnings report next week....
