Hi Wharf Rat; Re Gerhard Gerlich and Ralf D. Tscheuschne's bad physics.

I agree that they are wrong. But that does not prove that catastrophic global warming is true.

What matters is the question of whether or not the CO2 we produce causes catastrophic warming.

Talking about Gerlich and Tscheuschne is just setting up a strawman argument.

What you're doing, at best, is showing that physicists make mistakes. And that means that physicists on the other side can also make mistakes.

Different people have a different understanding of what the green house effect is and what a green house gas is. The entires set of argument presented in your article are all hand waving. If you understood the 2nd law of thermo you would understand how the claims of the early guys violates it. The current most prominent explanations also violate the 2nd law.

Understanding that is over you head is just the way it is. A green house does not get hot because glass blocks long way radiation. It gets hot because the glass physically traps the hot air that is hot from conduction from the surfaces that were heated from the sun light.

The delay in cooling the earth at night caused by H20 and C02 absorption of some energy has nothing to do with the heating of air in a green house. The green house heating process is a totally false and bogus analogy of the cooling delay caused by green house gases.

Just as if you were playing chess with a master you would never see several moves ahead your checkmate, you will never understand why all current explanations of the green house effect basically violate the 2nd law of thermodynamics.

It is not in my ability as a writer to explain to you. You may simply not be able to comprehend. That is life.
