Ericsson wins $22 mln order from Vimpelcom STOCKHOLM, May 12 (Reuters) - Swedish telephone equipment maker L.M. Ericsson (LMEb.ST) has won a $22 million order from Russian mobile telephone operator Vimpelcom (VIP - news), Ericsson said on Tuesday. The order for D-AMPS equipment will allow Vimpelcom (Vympelkom in Russian) to enhance network coverage and capacity in response to growing subscriber demand in Moscow and surroundings, it said in a statement. Vimpelcom, which is listed in New York, provides mobile phone services in the Moscow region under the Bee-Line brand.
