>> CNN claims it's the LAST cable news outlet.

After Roger Ailes commented that he would be worried about CNN "if I were Discovery channel" -- Zucker came out and said, "Oh, no we're staying in the news business!"

The reality is different. They are spending far more time broadcasting "shows" now than they are news.

Here are some examples from today's CNN schedule:

The Imposter: The story of a Frenchman who impersonated a Texas child who went missing in 1994.

Murder in Mexico: What Happened at Falcon Lake: Were American tourists caught in the crossfire of a drug war? Or is there a more sinister twist to the story?

Presumed Guilty: Murder in West Memphis: The case of the West Memphis Three

It seems pretty clear that FNC has defeated CNN in the cable news race. And MSNBC was never in it;they have totally admitted they're no longer in the news business.

It is over, and FNC won, and they won because they were actually in the business of delivering objective news coverage.
