In the coming conflagration, there will be plenty of opportunities
to go long. Out of 4000 stocks or so, I suspect there will be some
bargains. Right now, I only have gold and puts. :)

One of the things I avoid is trying to have to choose between
buying and selling a stock. I'll buy it if I think it is way, way too
cheap, and is gonna rise right away. I'll short (go long put) it if
I think it is way, way too high, and is gonna drop like a stone
soon. If it's in the middle ground, I leave it alone. By the way,
I wish I could make these predictions a whole lot better. If
I could of in the past, I'd have all my cash in some combination
of gold and bonds and would be in a warm or snowy climate.
So WDIK????
