with all the drive makers taking it on the chin.....
maybe in a few months iomega will pick up a nice,
slightly used factory for cheap.
with all the overcapacity from wdc, seagate, etc, i imagine iom can have their choice of region, too.
like that one in ireland, or something in north asia, like japan or korea.
i personally am wary of china as a location, due to
minor issues they're not too hip on, like copyrights,
trademarks and patents.
as for the techs in general, if the asian shakeout doesn't hit too hard, the quality techs will come back
soon. where else are you gonna get that kind of growth?
