I feel exactly the same way about federal taxpayers paying for beach sand 'replenishment', or keeping unprofitable rural airports open, or mandating ethanol subsidies, or Congress preventing Medicare from attacking the massive provider fraud that has bedeviled it since (at very least) the early nineteen eighties and said fraud costing tens of BILLIONS each and every year --- as repeated warned about by OIG over and over again. Shouldn't happen. Congress is to blame.
